St Joseph's Day

St Joseph's Day was on March 19th and the school came together to celebrate Mass. On Friday 22nd March the whole school celebrated St Joseph's Day with a trip to Willowbank Wildlife Park in Christchurch. Children travelled in their family groups and then remained in them to walk around the park. Well done to all our Family Group leaders on the way you kept with your groups and looked after the younger children and thank you to all the parents that accompanied us and made the trip possible. Photos of the trip can be seen on the Picture Trail.

Holy Week

This week is a very special week in the Liturgical Year of the church. The events of Holy Week lead up to Easter Sunday and the Resurrection of Jesus. Week 1

Week 1

Welcome to Room 6 and an exciting school year. We begin the year with a unit called "Learning Together". We will be looking at how to be a self manager, set goals and be proud of our achievements. We will also focus on our virtues, especially RESPECT, which will be an essential virtue for Room 6 class members. You will need to bring a positive attitude and good listening skills, as well as good manners. You also need to be organised with named books, P.E. gear, and equipment from your book list. I hope Week One is a good one for you, and that our learners qualities, our virtues and your goals are always on your mind as you give 100% to all you do.
